About Tisha M. Greene

Tisha M. Greene is the President of LAVP and the founding broker of the company.  Before becoming a real estate broker, Tisha practiced law with the international law firm of Latham & Watkins and the premiere California real estate law firm of Cox, Castle & Nicholson, LLP representing a host of corporate clientele, including commercial developers, insurance companies, national retailers, homebuilders, universities and financial institutions in complex real estate and finance transactions.  Tisha’s legal background now gives her unique vision and creativity to structure and negotiate deals as a real estate broker on behalf of residential buyers and sellers for both personal and investment purposes.  Tisha continues to offer the same diligent work ethic, integrity and expertise to individual real estate clients as was demanded by her former corporate legal clients. 

As a Los Angeles business owner, resident and native, Tisha has an excellent knowledge of the local real estate market and matters affecting the market, including personal experience as a teacher with the Los Angeles Unified School District and as a City Commissioner on the South Los Angeles Area Planning Commission.  Tisha was raised in Baldwin Vista, went to high school in Holmby Hills and in West L.A. and then left Los Angeles to earn her B.A. from Howard University in Washington, D.C. and J.D. at Howard University School of Law, where she graduated in the top 7% of her class.  Tisha currently lives in the Baldwin Hills community and the LAVP home office is located in the Westchester area of Los Angeles. 

Tisha is a Realtor^® member of the Southwest Los Angeles Board of Realtors^® and the California and National Association of Realtors^® as well as a “Realtist” member of the Consolidated Realty Board of Southern California and the California and National Association of Real Estate Brokers.  As a Realtor^® and a Realtist, Tisha is obligated and committed to conducting real estate deals with the highest ethical standards and fairness to all parties.
